Adi Englman

Founder and Artistic Director (since 2013)

Independent art curator, specializes in contemporary and modern art. Curated exhibitions at the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art (Biennial of Contemporary Art - 2009 with Picnic Magazine; Post-Minimalist Art in Israel - 2008), the Negev Museum of Art, Be'er Sheva (50 Years to the Negev Monument / 50 Years to Dani Karavan's Public Art 2014-2015), Beit Ha'ir Municipal Museum of Tel Aviv (Picnic in Beit Ha'ir - throughout 2011, with Picnic Magazine), Amiad Center, Jaffa (2013, with Picnic Magazine), Dvir Gallery, Tel Aviv (2008) and in various alternative art spaces in Israel and abroad. Former co-editor and co-publisher of Picnic Magazine, an international image-based art magazine (2007-2013). Former director at Dvir Gallery, Tel Aviv (2001-2006). She holds an MA degree in Art history from UCL, University of London and BA in History and Art history (summa cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

Tamar Dekel

an interdisciplinary innovator in the field of international development with an emphasis on art practice and education as well as cross-cultural exchanges. She is the founding co-Director of CoCuDi Center for Cosmopolitan Cultural Dialogue (since 2018), and a lecturer at Bezalel Academy and the School of Social Work at Tel Aviv University. Tamar facilitates projects whose aim is to establish an international platform through the nexus of social practices, arts education and intercultural exchanges.

Dr. Orly Shevi

Orly Shevi Ph.D. is a lecturer in The Art History Department at Tel Aviv University and The Visual and Materiel Culture Department at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design Jerusalem. Her fields of expertise include contemporary art, photography, and video art. She wrote essays and articles regarding Israeli Art and Artists.        

Sandra Weil

A freelance curator who curates exhibitions at different art institutions, galleries and museums located in both Israel and Sweden that revolves around a core ethos of sincerity and taking an active stand. In addition, she works with the promotion of cultural exchange between Israel and Sweden. 

Sandra is engaged very closely with the African asylum seeking community in Tel Aviv and currently act as the chair of the board of Kuchinate African refugee women’s collective, as well as a board member of the NPO: Oleh! Records Israel’s Music Export and on the public council of Batsheva Dance Company as well.

Elizabeth Levin

Artist-Teacher in “Neve Shaanan kids culture club” assistant at Dan Reisinger Studio (2020)

A visual artist, whose work is largely based around the photographic medium. In 2011, she received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree from Parsons the New School for Design in New York City. She recently finished her Master’s of Fine Arts degree at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Israel

Asia Kislev

Production Assistant: 1:1 Center for Art and Politics, Neve Sha'anan Tel Aviv (2018)

Final year BA student in Textile at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam. Specializes in weaving, photography and artist books.

Lihi Levie

Project Manager: Benni Efrat: Experimental films from the 1970s (2017)

Final year BA student of Art History at the Tel Aviv University. Lihi will start her MA studies in Restoration of Contemporary Art in Amsterdam University in 2017. Previously worked in restoration, design and execution of wall paintings, in guiding art at art institutions and in holding a variety of art workshops.

 

Elinore Darzi

About to graduate MA in Philosophy at the Tel Aviv University. Graduated with honors BA at the Marc Rich program for excellent students in Humanities and Arts. Writes on aesthetics, photography and Contemporary Art. Managed artists’ studios in Israel and France. Produced artist books, catalogues and exhibition.

 

 

Or Frish

Project Manager: WADI Artist Residency at the Umm El Fahem Gallery (2015-2017)

Specializes in art and culture projects. Founder and director of "40+08 Art Marathon in the Negev", in Be'er Sheva. Or holds a B.A in Art history and Management from Ben-Gurion University. She now studies for M.A. at the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, at the Urban and Regional Planning unit, Technion, Haifa.

Eike Walkenhorst

Project Manager: 50 Years to the Negev Monument / 50 Years to Dani Karavan's Public Art (2014)

A cultural programmer and photographer based in Berlin. He has BA in cultural work, arts management and photography from the University of Applied Science, Potsdam and the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem. Freelance photographer in the fields of theatre and opera (e.g.Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoper im Schiller Theater, Berliner Festspiele). Co-curator and -producer of the ongoing exhibition "Angelo Novi - Am Set mit Bertolucci, Leone & Pasolini, based on the archive of the Italian set photographer Angelo Novi. He worked as online editor and community manager for several festivals at the Berliner, e.g. Festspiele and the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).
